Steffi told me I haven’t been on her Tumblr for a while now. The way to solve that is through a Katipunan visit. Talk about perfect timing, because it was also the weekend of the Ateneo Debate Camp, so I got to see everybody (my former debate kids and teammates) and everything (my beautiful school) I love. Two days weren’t enough though, so I am definitely looking forward to the next reunion.

I made it, out of Godknowshowmanypeopletooktheexam. There it is, in font size 10 probably, is my name, along with everyone else’s. I waited half a day for this list. I refreshed my browser countless times until 1 in the afternoon.
There it is, another road into a perceived “near future”.

Dea’s Kids’ “Surprise” Send-Off Party
Saying good bye to college wasn’t limited to the people I met in Ateneo, but also to the people who I worked with because of Ateneo. Being a college debater gave me the opportunity to coach high school debaters from PAREF Southridge, PAREF Rosehill, and Assumption College. I started helping out in 2010, and I had no idea it was going to be a handful of fun having these makulit youngsters as students/friends.
To the undergrads of Ateneo Debate Society, thank you so much for coming to the send-off! It really meant a lot to me because you guys were the batchmates I never had and I love you all so, so much.

T-3 days before graduation
I don’t know which photo to upload first so I’m gonna have to start with Blue Roast last night! A lot of (memorable) stuff happened but one of the highlights was bumping into my Ateneo Debate Society batchmates- Ray, James, Coco, Seraps, and Daryl (not in photo). We aren’t the best batch of debaters in org history, nope, not at all, but we’ve been through a lot together.
Ray is graduating Summa Cum Laude and Program Awardee. You have no idea how proud we are.

Ateneo Batch 2013 Blue Roast
I’m down to my final week in Ateneo.
It feels so surreal. It seems like only yesterday when I got this in the mail, and I felt like Harry Potter getting invited to Hogwarts. Earlier tonight I found myself looking at folders stacked inside my closet. I almost threw everything out without checking, and this fell out. I almost cried.
Thank you for the best years of my life.
